Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using BidCraft ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

BidCraft is a mobile application that allows contractors to create estimates, generate invoices, and collect payments from clients. The app is available on iOS through Apple's App Store.

3. Account and Subscription

BidCraft offers a 14-day free trial. After the trial period, a paid subscription is required to continue using the app's features. Subscription plans are billed monthly through Apple's App Store. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

• Solo Plan: $39/month for 1 user
• Team Plan: $79/month for up to 5 users

4. Payment Processing

BidCraft uses Stripe Connect to facilitate payment collection between contractors and their clients. When a contractor sends a payment link to a client:

• The client's payment is processed by Stripe
• Funds are deposited into the contractor's connected Stripe account
• A processing fee of 2.5% is deducted from each transaction

BidCraft does not store, process, or have access to credit card numbers. All payment processing is handled by Stripe in accordance with PCI DSS standards.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of estimates, invoices, and business information you create
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations related to your contracting business
• Ensuring you have appropriate licenses and insurance for your trade

BidCraft is a tool to help you manage your business. It does not provide legal, financial, or tax advice.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of BidCraft is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Estimate, invoice, and client data is stored locally on your device. BidCraft does not maintain a centralized database of your business data.

7. Intellectual Property

BidCraft, including its design, code, features, and branding, is the intellectual property of BidCraft. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app.

8. Limitation of Liability

BidCraft is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Lost revenue or business opportunities
• Inaccurate estimates or invoices created by users
• Payment processing failures or delays handled by Stripe
• Data loss resulting from device failure or app deletion

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for BidCraft in the 12 months preceding any claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to BidCraft if you violate these terms. You may stop using the app and cancel your subscription at any time.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of BidCraft after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.
